ELLEN ROZELLE MCGEE APPOINTED TO HARRINGTON COLLEGE OF DESIGN BOARD OF GOVERNORS

For Immediate Release

CHICAGO, IL (August 13, 2007) – Ellen Rozelle McGee, a founder and managing partner of Clarity Partners, LLC, a Chicago-based management and information technology consulting firm, has been appointed to the Harrington College of Design Board of Governors.

McGee, 48, of Hyde Park, has more than 15 years of experience helping high profile clients – such as the city of Chicago, Chicago Public Library, Chicago Public Schools and the state of Illinois – solve complex business issues. She is also responsible for business development and marketing for the firm.

"We are pleased to have the benefit of Ms. McGee’s vast business and civic experience on the board of governors," said Chairperson Janet Blutter-Shiff.

Prior to joining Clarity Partners, McGee served as senior account executive for Blackwell Consulting Services, receiving the President’s Award for generating a 50 percent growth in the firm’s public sector business. Previously, she was an assistant commissioner at the city of Chicago’s Department of Business and Information Services, where she acted as senior advisor to the chief information officer, managed the administrative services division and assisted the senior management team that developed the strategic technology goals for the city.

McGee is active in the National Forum for Black Public Administrators, the Urban League of Chicago and the Loretto Hospital Foundation Board of Directors, among other groups. She also donates her time to the Anti-Defamation League of Chicago Women of Achievement Committee, and received its 2007 Women of Achievement Award. McGee was chairperson and president of the Local School Council and PTA at Shoesmith Elementary School in Hyde Park for five years, where the technology lab is named in her honor.
